TAKE BACK THE WEB!

WEBZINE 2000 is looking for great people to help announce to the world that the web is a place for personal, creative, and alternative expression. We've built the programming of our event around a 'jambalaya' theory, meaning, if it tasted good... throw it into the mix! We, the organizers, participate in web making on a daily basis and when we're inspired to hear what someone has to say we write them a personal note and say, "Hey! Come be a part of WEBZINE 2000!" But don't wait around for an invitation. Our stage is open to anyone that has something relevant to say to an audience interested in the zinemaking experience.

We are constantly asking friends, co-workers, family members, and strangers with good attitudes to participate in the event by being a volunteer or to show off their art and to play their music. The fun thing about the web is that so many different types of media cross-over each other to make it happen. Design, sound, writing, engineering, and personality all play major parts in the modern web site. Got a freaky machine that whirs at a frequency that explodes computer monitors? Bring it down!

Interested in sponsoring our fine event? We are seeking donations from appropriate sponsors. WEBZINE 2000 is 100% volunteer driven and costs around $5000 to produce. If you have the means and the interest to promote independent publishing on the internet, please visit our area 'for sponsors' and let's get in touch.
